Auditions for singers currently in Grades 6 to 11

CURRENT GRADES 6-11: Singers who will be entering 7th grade to 12th grade in the fall of 2018 should sign up for individual auditions, here. Traditional solo auditions for teens will be held by appointment on Saturday, April 28, 2018 and Saturday, May 5, 2018.

• Middle school and high school singers need to prepare a song in advance and bring a copy of the sheet music to the audition – CD accompaniment and pop songs are not permissible. The audition itself only takes about 7 minutes!  A parent or guardian must accompany singers to the audition so that they can sign paperwork and so that both of you are aware of the time commitment and costs involved in being a part of a professional children’s choir.
• You’ll find out right away if you’re accepted and which choir you’ll be in!

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE AUDITION?

• A completed Audition Form.
• Sheet music for the accompanist.
• Please plan to arrive 15- minutes early for paperwork and information.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO AUDITION? Auditioning is free.  If KCC seems right for you, you’ll want to make a non-refundable $50 deposit to hold your spot in the choir.
