Frequently Asked Questions

There is no required choir experience to join KCC as a camper! In fact, KCC Day Camp is a great way for young singers to become familiar with singing in a choir.

Please complete your camper’s registration online. Then, submit the registration payment via:

  • PayPal 
  • Chorus Connection (For KCC Members) 
  • Check (mailed to Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus, PO Box 50414, Kalamazoo, MI 49005) 

Finally, please download and complete the required Medical Form before the first day of camp. The complete information can be emailed to malin@kalamazoochildrenschorus.org or submitted in person.

Please come each day with:

  • A pencil, water bottle, and anything else to beat the heat
  • Sunscreen and bug spray already applied
  • Tennis shoes (no sandals, please!)
  • A ready-to-sing attitude!

You’ll receive a name tag and folder of music to bring each day. Please wear comfy, weather-appropriate clothes (sunglasses and hats are welcome!).

Both. We will be based in the Grain Elevator at Celery Flats Historic Area which shelters us from the heat and bugs during rehearsals and select activities. But we will also hold games, snack breaks, and our final performance outside!

KCC will also provide a simple snack each day during our mid-morning break. Please remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Our week in Candyland will wrap up with a spectacular performance for family and friends at 11:30 AM on July 16th at the Celery Flats Grain Elevator.

Bring a camp chair or picnic blanket and settle in for a deliciously fun showcase featuring all the music, movement, and memories we’ve created together!
