Financial Obligation
KCC is a nonprofit organization that strives to provide a high quality, meaningful choral experience to children. Providing that experience takes funding. Each member of a choir has an obligation to meet the financial obligation set by the Board of Directors in order to continue as a member of the choir.
Because we believe the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of participating in the Children’s Chorus should be open to all children, we are happy to offer scholarships to deserving children. We are also open to alternative payment schedules, if the normal payment schedule is a problem.
The financial obligations for the 2007-2008 season have been set at:
| Touring & Bel Canto Choirs | $375 | ||
| Concert Choir | $350 | ||
| Treble & Preparatory Choirs | $325 | ||

Uniforms
The Kalamazoo Children's Chorus is expected to present a polished concert appearance. KCC has chosen a uniform as the best way to accomplish this. All members are provided with a skirt or pants, vest, and a tie. Parents provide the rest of the uniform. It is imperative that the remaining items meet KCC requirements.
The items you provide are:
Girls:
- White oxford button-down collar long sleeved shirt. (These must be purchased from Land's End.)
- Black tights (Must be purchased from Land's End.)
- Black Shoes (Singers may have to walk up and down risers, so keep them simple with a low heel. No athletic shoes.)
- Any hair accessories must be purchased through Dennis uniforms. Any jewelry must be simple, or it may have to be removed prior to performing.
Boys:
- White oxford button-down collar long sleeved shirt. (These must be purchased from Land's End.)
- Black belt
- Black socks
- Black shoes (No athletic shoes.)
The articles provided by KCC are to be kept in good condition. They are distributed at the beginning of the year and collected at the last performance of the year. Any article that becomes soiled during the year should be professionally dry-cleaned. Abnormal wear or failure to return the uniform will result in an assessment for the amount that it will cost to replace that item.
