Jane Pearson

Jane received her Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from Central Michigan University. She has taught public school music for the past 17 years for Plainwell Community Schools. Prior to that, she taught vocal music in the White Cloud, Alma, and Mount Pleasant public schools.

In addition, she has taught private piano lessons, been a church organist, Director or Very Special Arts/Allegan County, and an instructor at CMU and KVCC.

Jane is married to David and the proud mother of Katie (Adam), Brian, Laura and Mary.

Concert

The Concert Choir stresses development of three part singing along with an emphasis on repertoire in foreign languages. The members of this choir are usual ages nine through 12. Entrance into this choir from the Treble Choir is by audition. The Concert Choir performs at the Holiday Concert, the Spring Concert and the annual Stage Show. Other performances in the community are possible. Following the season members of the Concert Choir can decide to remain in that ensemble or audition to sing in the Touring Choir.
